Thank You for Being Part of the Beirut Service Jam 2013
A few weeks ago, the Beirut Creative Cluster and Mirada Madrid decided to team up and bring the Global Service Jam to Beirut for the first time.
In a relatively short time both teams managed to secure everything that was needed to host a successful Beirut Service Jam that took place last weekend on March 1-3 at Berytech Digital Park.
During the weekend; 30 jammers have dedicated 48 hours to create unique service designs around the theme “Grow”. The jammers formed 5 groups and worked together to each create an amazing service prototype that was uploaded to the Global Service Jam platform.
“It was an intensely engaging experience”, said the co-founders of Mirada Madrid. The jammers have benefited from the experience of leading experts and got the chance to talk with jammers in Dundee, Scotland, via a Skype call.
The format of this event, which took place simultaneously in 135 cities around the world (+1 moving bus), was fun and challenging, and the process was all about designing, creating, innovating and interacting. That’s why we have supported it wholeheartedly.
